June 2009 Bike Work Group Meeting

The June Meeting of the City of Fresno Bike Work Group will take place on Monday, June 8th, 2009, at 2:00pm in room 4020 of City Hall.

On the agenda are trails projects proposed by the Public Works Department.

The Meetings

We meet on the third Thursday almost every month. The location varies, but the time is usually six o'clock. We post our meeting on Upcoming and we send a notice to our announcement mailing list. All of our meetings are open to the public, and we are always eager to hear about your experiences bicycling in the county. We are always open to suggestions and we can definitely use your help!

May is Bike Month.

Remember a couple more events:

1. Thursday, May 21st, 6:30pm Woodward Park--Yoga for Cyclists (just south of the Tea Garden). The fantastic Deborah Eacock will be leading us in a gentle stretch to ease those weary bike-month muscles.
2. Friday, May 29th--Member's Appreciation Party. Thanks to a successfull bike month, we have more members to appreciate now! If you're not a member yet, click Donate and join us!
3. Saturday, May 30th, 10:30am Tower Velo--Winery Ride About 22 miles round trip on flat West-side roads. An FCBC traditional close to Bike Month.
