May -- National Bike Month -- is fast approaching, and the Fresno County Bicycle Coalition (FCBC) is gearing up for its Third Annual Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge! We are in immediate need of sponsorship for this event, which will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008.
The Corporate Challenge exists to encourage people to bike to work by creating a fun and friendly competition between Fresno area businesses. Winners are determined by team size, miles ridden and points based on employer facilities that encourage bicycle commuting. Category winners receive an award, t-shirts and a catered on-site lunch. All participants are entered into a free drawing for a bicycle and numerous other prizes. In its first year, the Corporate Challenge had almost 200 participants. Last year, that number more than doubled, and the goal is to continue this trend.
Our sponsors will be highlighted on all printed materials, the FCBC Corporate Challenge website, and on the Corporate Challenge t-shirts. Please help promote an event which encourages a healthy lifestyle, cleaner air, and less traffic in the greater Fresno Area. You will also be aiding the Fresno County Bicycle Coalition in our cause to increase awareness for cyclists and improve bicycle facilities and safety in our community.

- Silver Spoke: $500
- Bronze Spoke: $250
