Virtual Smart Cycling Part I, classroom session, scheduled for November!

Basic skills to ride more safely and confidently. Get ready to ride by learning riding tips, bike parts & maintenance, and tips on riding with traffic.

Students will learn from League Cycle Instructors (LCIs) about choosing a bicycle, basic parts of a bike, essential equipment, as well as how to safely and comfortably ride your bike in various traffic conditions, terrain and climates. Class is free.

This virtual session is Part I of a two-part Smart Cycling class that we are offering on the weekend of November 19 and 20, 2022. There is no need to take Part II this weekend, but if you are planning to take the in-person Part II on Sunday in Visalia, you must take Part I on Saturday first, or take the virtual class and test on learn.bikeleague.org and present the results to the instructor by email.

Part I and Part II combined are the full Smart Cycling class that is a pre-requisite to the LCI Seminar, for those interested in becoming League Cycling instructors.

If you have any questions or need more information, email events@fresnobike.org.
